Went on a 'roadtrip' with a girlfriend to Sundsvall in the weekend........we arrived on saturday and the entire city was lit up with candles! absolutely beautiful!
We had a nice sunny day to drive up on (and considering we've had about 4 hours of sun this november this was a great feeling!) for a sunshine like me (-:
Sundsvall was celebrating a tradition they've had for a while lightening up the city with candles.....had a delicious breakfast at the Knaust Hotel right in the centre of the city followed by a soul searching meeting with an 82 year old woman that I got a lot of inspiration from.....we all have something to learn from people a lot older than us.....really interesting life she had and really interesting to spend some time with......
I got some new inspiration for my art......my upcoming exhibition is called 'Stockholm Rooftops' but I also got some great inspiration from the rooftops of Sundsvall......
Thank you Yvonne for being such a positive happy friend to be around.........since my separation I'm so greatful for all my friends that have kept my standing up.......and I'm proud of myself now to be standing up too and making my own path in life......
Always remember you are the Manager over your own life.......never blame anyone for anything that goes wrong in your life........you make your own decisions........some people can make you sad.....but its up to you to pick yourself up again.......and remember every day is a New Beginning so smile and make it a good one!
Love

Step by step,
you are getting closer to your hearts desires...
One foot after the other,
you are getting closer to your destination...
The journey might be long and difficult at times,
But remember that each footstep belongs in the present...
walking towards the future...
Walk with passion and enthusiasm as to create, a dance of victory tomorrow...
and know that when you arrive at your destination,
you shall celebrate with old and new friends the sweet joy,
of conquering the road you chose
Patiently....
To see somebody angry, sad, happy and show all sides of their emotions and love them anyway......is when you know you've found home.
Think about it, when you make a decision, it doesn't have to be right or wrong, but just a decision that moves you forward in the right direction, and that you will feel is right in your heart and body.
Just remember to take care of yourself and the people that care about you.
You can't love ....until you love yourself and your own company first......
and as I've said before.......Learn what you can from the past, then let it go.......the best possible future is created by doing what you love the most in the present.
Remember you can create your own reality. Whatever picture you have in your head of how you want your future to be.......will become your reality if it is really, truely something you want.
I've always been a positive person since I was born (-:
When I moved to Sweden I wanted to learn swedish within 2 years and become an Event Manager within a few years travelling around the world......and that's exactly what I DID!
Then after many years of travelling I wanted to settle down more and become more available for my children and paint as a full time artist.....and now I am doing that too! so remember what you wish for and put positive energy into may become your reality........so when you get what you wished for....remember to enjoy and take care of it.......
I never take anything for granted .......
Last Thursday I had a day where EVERYTHING went wrong in all areas of my life........but one thing I do know is that AFTER CHAOS COMES HARMONY AND HAPPINESS ......AND THAT'S ALWAYS WORTH FIGHTING FOR (-:
I had two wonderful friends that at the end of the day made me a delicious dinner and wine and reminded me what life is all about.......sharing and caring and just being there when you need someone the most........
There is no love that is 100% perfect.......but when you find what feels right......then its worth fighting for it and keeping that feeling alive......but you need to keep working at it and nourish it.....don't take anything for granted.....
ENJOY, LOVE, LAUGH, AND LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE........BECAUSE WE ONLY GET ONE CHANCE (-:
That's my love lesson for today.......now I need to refocus on my next exhibition with my intention of making more people happy through my art..........
Who did you make happy today?
Love
Natasha

A lot has happened since I wrote last time in all areas of my life but here I will just write about my art life........I've been in Örebro one week with my art workshops with children between the age of 12-15, fantastic inspiring week. I'm so impressed with the children producing art in just 90 minutes and expressing themselves in a way they may not have thought of before.
My Vernissage and exhibition is still on show at Radisson Blu Royal Park Hotel in Frösundavik so if you get time to check it out I recommend a delicious lunch up in the restaurant combined with an art tour.......
Now I'm in Karlstad this week for more workshops with Internationella Engelska Skolan and I promise when I get back I'll update my website with photos of what I've been producing with the children......
Todays quote..........
Remember life is not about how many breaths you take.....
It's about the moments that take your breath away....

Hello world.....
Back again.......how do people get time to blogg every day?!
I'm impressed!
Celebrating one year as a full time artist and loving it!
I won't talk about my private life on this blog because I find private life is exactly that.....private.
However, I will let you into my art world which is a place I like to be.
I am currently working daily with preparation for my upcoming vernissage (well 3 different vernissage actually). My Heart is your Heart is coming up on the 24th of September at the Radisson Blu Royal Park Hotel. Second on the 26and 27th of September at Jungfrusund Marina on Ekerö and thirdly November 5th at Galleri 21 in Östermalm and a 2 week exhibition.
I'm also preparing for a one week workshop in Örebro next week meeting 480 children between the ages of 12-15.......I will start a section on this site called International Engelska Skolan with photos from each day and updates of the progress of the workshops......
Today I'm sending off the rest of my invitations for my vernissage, printing my portfolio, updating all art teachers with the set up of my workshop programme, planning set up of how we're going to finish off the term at each school or at the Radisson Blu Royal Park Hotel.
My photos of my art workshops with the Internationella Engelska Skolar will be updated on this site.
When I have my children every second week I paint a lot with them too. It's a nice social way of enjoying quality time together via art. Especially my boys that are so active and sporty, its a good contrast for them to get their creative brain working too.
I realise now that when we think we've reached out limit......we still have so much more to give.......I don't think I have a limit......or if I do, I havn't reached it yet. I get so much back with working with children. They put life in perspective and remind us what's important in life too......being here and NOW. Otherwise we're easily thinking about what we've done or what we have to do.......what's important is here and NOW.
My favourite quote is:
Learn what you can from the past, then let it go.......the best possible future is created by doing what you love the most in the present.
Think about it........

A lovely couple from Stockholm/Gothenberg bought my Stockholm by night painting as well as "Constant Change". It's great making people happy and giving some inspiration via art.

Saw a film on Saturday - Into the Wild - based on a true story about a top student that gave up all his belongings and wealth to go into the Alaska wildlife -
A favourite quote he wrote after being along in the wild for a couple of years
"Happiness is not real unless it is shared"
So true, we are meant to share our happiness and constantly need to encourage the people we love so that they, in turn, get inspired to help and inspire others.

I'm so happy with my Vernissage last Tuesday!
Great mixture of guests from various companies.
I feel very moved by the great response I got from everybody and especially that people felt my positive energy I put into my art.
Me being able to sell my art helps me with supporting my other company Kids Earth Fund Sweden (see tag Kids Earth Fund for more information). This is my way of being able to help as many children as I can around the world, and the way I can do this is via my art. That is my main mision with selling my art.
I paint to spread happiness and positive energy and to create a piece of art that gives a special touch to the environment it hangs in.
But a deeper meaning is that proceeds from my art go back to kids helping kids around the world and that's very motivating and satisfying when I paint.
The Radisson SAS Royal Park Hotel are absolutely wonderful to work with and it was a pleasure to have my vernissage with them in connection with the showing of their new rooms by Louise Nilsson.
Within the next few days I will be updating my website so you can see the mingle photos and photographs of all the art I had at my Vernissage. I sold 11 paintings and the paintings that are left can been seen in my permanent exhibition on the bottom floor corridors of the Radisson SAS Royal Park Hotel in Solna.
Hugs
Natasha
